I read that thread. Lucky Mike didn't get arrested for attacking one of those cars with his DA and a bottle of 83.

Never been to one of these. Will I be able to get as close as Mike or did he still have his "All Access" pass from he was a roadie with Britney Spears?

You'll need the right pass to get up on the stage, for the most part they really only want bidders on stage, everyone else, (pass or no pass), is kind of excess baggage. Besides being on stage, I think the next best place is where the cars exit. Where they're going into the auction it's kind of nutty, but once the car has gone across the blocks, all the excitement is over and the car is ushered out of the building/tent. At this point it's really easy to get up close and look the car over, take pictures even talk to the owner.

Mike should know!. He has probably been seen there standing with a Rotary in his hand in a puddle of Drool.

I have two clients with over 70 cars between them. Maybe I can tag along. See my reflection in the shine as I jump?
