Does any one know were I could get lessons on using a rotary buffer? Are there any schools of sorts for this?

Rotary Lessons???

Mike’s planning on having an advanced class for people who’ve attended a “Detailing 101” session and want to go to the next level. Last I heard they’re shooting for June 17th but haven’t finalized it yet.
Meguiar’s NXT Tech Institute includes rotary techniques and much more. It’s a great class but it’s not a regularly scheduled event so we have to wait until they can organize another one.
A lot of junior colleges and vocational schools have auto body and paint programs. I would presume that somewhere along the way they teach rotary buffing. You could check with the instructors at your local school.
There are a few outfits out there that sell detailing training courses and include rotary techniques. I’ve never met anyone that attended one so I have no idea how worthwhile they are (they aren’t cheap but if the content is good it could be a good investment).
Most people I’ve met learned on the job under the direction of an experienced mentor (or, were just left to flail away on their own).
PC.
