#80 and my air conditioner

Ok so I just got done giving my wifes car "the works" and since she took my truck to get her hair done I started looking for something else around the house to detail. I've got a Trane XL1400 condensing unit that has been sitting in the Florida sun for about 4 years now and the paint on it was pretty shot out. I started with 2 applications of #80 and then followed that up with a coat of #7 then a coat of #26. I then used some gold class trim detailer for the black plastic trim!!! here is a before pic of the top.

OMG I think you just got an extra number or two on the SEER rating of your a/c unit!!!

Instead of having the best looking SUV on the block, you probably have the best looking A/C unit in the city!!!!

Both look great! Its kind of fun to see what you can make look good.

I hope the AC unit is well hidden from the neighbors, I would hate to know what they are thinking when they saw you out there.
