"Flat" Paint question

OK Folks,

So I work with a guy that has me detailed his 67 Mustang Boss before he sells it.

It has been restored, and the hood is painted with flat black paint.

Any ideas, tips, tricks, suggestions, small talk or just plain advice here?

Can I treat the flat paint the same as the rest of the paint, or do I need to do something special?

Should be the same. Clean, polish, and protect. A wax may add a little gloss to the flat paint, but not too much.
