  • 83 hard to remove

Hey, I'm doin my first full detail today using DA. After working a 2x2 section I find 83 is kinda hard to move. Am I working it too long? Still on a learning curve on 83 and 80 and DA. Will post pics tommorow. took a break. Car looks great with the 83. Gonna head back out now and use 80 then 21.

Try using less product especially after the first time you apply product to the pad which will tend to moisten the pad.

    Apply at the 5.0 setting

Clean your pad between applications of product by holding a soft, clean terry cloth towel into the foam pad with one hand while holding the polisher while it's running with the other hand.

You can always mist on some quick detailer or even water to help dissolve it because it's a water-based product, this will help to loosen it so you can remove it.

Thanks Mike. When I switched to 80 the 83 pad was soaked. Will let it dry and clean it and use less product. Just finished with 80. Much better results. Think I will get better the more use the products.
