  • claying and washing after??

I've been reading on other forums that it is recommended that you wash the car after claying ( with the use of QD as well) is this correct? Thats mean one would have to wash the car twice, look I suppose to get the best result, if one has to wash the car a 2nd time so be it...

But I would think that while claying with the use of QD, you can wipe of the panel with a MF cloth?, that should be good enough to move to the next step, e.g. apply #80, without having to wash the car again?

    thoughts?

I never use to but now that I have a black vehicle I like to wash after clay. Just don't want to take the chance on scratching, its just a double check to make sure all the contaminates that might scratch are off. Its a quick and easy wash and only takes a short time since the vehicle is already clean(other than the dried QD). Another reason I would "waste" some of my Microfibers that I need for product removal. Is it totally necessary? Probably not, but it gives me peace of mind. Might just be down to personal preference.
