  • Removal of Competitors Product

Okay, after trying a competitors "High End" product, I have decided to come back to Meguiars. I have #83 and #80 on order and will top it with some #21.
Question is, should I and how do I remove the **** that is currently on my car?
    Dawn? Clay? Something else?

BTW, this was a 3 step product Cleaner/Polish/Sealer

If you were to go over each painted panel with a cleaner/polish like the M80 Speed Glaze, or the M83 DACP, you will have removed everything you've previously applied and created a fresh, clean base to work on.

Clay will remove wax off the surface, but any wax in microscopic imperfections in the paint may be left behind, so a paint cleaner, or a cleaner/polish is the most thorough way to clean the paint.
