    ...that sometimes your favorite drying towels will at times really **** up the water and other times...just move it around?

    For me, it is usualy a good indicator that wax is wearing off. Or it is very damp.

        I tend to go with a leaf blower for drying most of the time. But I have used the Water Magnet on as as needed basis.

        I addition to your thought of which detergent you wax them with. I think also to consider is what prducts were on any other towels you may have washed them with. For example where there towels you used for wax removal, Foam Pad that you applied wax with etc. I guess everything will effect them to some small degree. I guess the trick is to find a way to wash you can accept and still find that line between excess and getting the job done as efficiently as possible.

          Thanks for the reply...the odd thing is that I use the same big ol white (soft) thick cotton towles for drying my vehicles. They only get washed with the whites when I do laundry. They never are used for removing or get near wax etc. Just remove water. At times they **** it up like crazy and other times they just move it around.

            I find that my Water magnet works best when it hasn't been washed in a while. I'll use it a couple times, and rinse it out, but not wash it. By the 3rd car wash or so, I find its absorbing better than the first.
