  • PC application technique

Will use my new 7336sp for the first time this weekend, having been dragged kicking and screaming into the 20th century(yeah, I know...). I'm abysmally ignorant of small machinery so I may as well be trying to crank up a nuclear reactor but I've read much on this site. If I missed this answer, just point me in the right direction and accept my apologies. I'll go quietly.
When you folks have applied product (anything except LSP), say, #80 or #7, do you then lay the PC aside and remove by hand, then continue with the PC and application pad, or do you switch to, say, a finishing pad, remove the product, then switch back to your applicator pad and continue, so as to be using 2 pads throughout?

I remove all cleaners and polishes by hand. The only time I use the machine is to remove wax. Even then I use the W-7006 pad with a MF Bonnet over the pad. Do not use the 7006 pad without the bonnet to remove wax. I've found the finishing pads (W-9006) are just too soft. The bonnet actually smashes the finishing pad, since the bonnet goes on pretty tight.

Hope this helps... I have the same machine, and it works wonders!

I appreciate the quick response. You basically then lay the PC aside, remove by hand, then continue with the applicator pad. Thanks for your help.
