I've seen some people have it on for 4 or 5 months and still notice beading of water.
I've had it on since the last week in November, 2005. Its been through an ice storm, dust storms, some rain and lots of weird freezing rain weather (Dallas detail day) and I still notice beading, but I'm going to re-apply soon.
5-6 month wow... Hard to believe, I'm not doubting anything. Anyways, Im going see how this go against KSG. I just ordered a 12oz sample from autodetailsolution.
Thanks for the reply.
As you know from my #21 thread, I have been testing #21 for a long time. I can assure you, its durability is excellent! On this page towards the bottom, here is the update for the #21:
Thanks for the link. I see you use a Meg finish pad to apply the #21. I take this.... I can also use a MF pad to apply it and buff it out with a MF towel?

Sure you can do that, though I think you might prefer applying it with a foam appliactor and then removing it with a MF towel. Either way, the resultant deep gloss is quite amazing!
I buffed a customers black MB CLK430 about 6 months ago (did some significant rotary buffing) and also put on some M21. Two weeks ago I did this car again. It looked pretty darn good when they brought it to me and when I washed it, the water beaded up quite nicely. Now I know water beading is not always a measure of paint protection, but this car looked real nice.
I'm pretty impressed with M21. Its what all my customers get now. I've found that you really need to put in on thin. If you get it on too think I've sometimes gotten smearing and streaking. When I get it on nice and thin.....it works awesome!

The durability of #21 is amazing! I'm not even sure when I last applied it, probably late November or early December. It has seen a lot of snow, salt, rain, mud, construction, dust, you name it! And the surface is still very slick!
And BTW, I applied only one coat of it with no other prep and it is still holding up great. This is probably the way to go with a daily driver that gets a lot of abuse!
