Question about these swirl marks

Hello, I must say this site is great, I have been a lurker for a while and figured you guys will be able to help, I took over possesion of my G20T from my wife, she has had it since 97 and it has seen nothing but carwash after carwash, so needless to say its got a ton of spiderweb/ swirl marks, I first clayed then rewashed did 2 coats of NXT, then 2 coats of #26, however I still have these marks, I just purchased a PC from Coastal tool and tried it with just the white pad and some #83 on a small spot, I noticed a little difference but not much, should I use a yellow pad and go with # 84 or stick with the #83 and a different pad, Thanks for the replys.

I would say use the polishing pad (yellow) and give it a try, be patient as it will take awhile. I belive #84 is for rotery use.....not saying it wouldn't work, just not designed for a pc, maybe someone else can answer that better. if the yellow pad doesn't work you might even try a cutting pad with #83 as a first step.

For the swirls you have, #84 is a bit harsh...you need to work the #83 longer with a foam cutting pad. DOn't forget to take your time and only work a section at a time until you're happy with the results, THEN move on to the next area.
