    Bug Stains on Front Bumper

    What is the best method or can you remove bug stains? My wife's 2003 Altima has bug stains on the front bumper cover that I can't seem to remove and since it is black, they show up....what doesn't show up on black??

    So you have removed the bulk of the bug.. it is now a stain in the paint, or kind of etched in?

    If so, you will need to look at a paint cleaner like ScratchX to remove it.

    Look at the removal of a bird dropping in this thread.. I think it is on page 4 or 5..

      I am trying to remove what I *think* is bug guts --> & has the color of tree sap almost<-- from my Azure Blue Mach 1 Mustang. I can feel the worst splatter (pretty big) with my finger and it looks like bug gu, but that sucker won't come off. The rest are smaller spots-the size of a pencil eraser & can't be felt.
