I've read on a few other websites that it is not good to dry your car with a chamois leather, apparently the friction can remove wax and cause scratches - is this true? Is there another way I can dry my car without using a chamois leather?
I got a brand new car in October 2005. Next week I'm going to use the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner (to remove swirls), clay it and then a coat of NXT liquid wax. I'll try and post some pictures afterwards.
No matter how careful I am washing, I can't stop getting paint swirls. I even use the two bucket wash method and give the car a good rinse before washing. Sometimes it looks awful in direct sunlight
