  • Got my Smooth Surface Clay Kit today

I received my Megs package today.

I opened the box and the first thing that jumps out at me is the Smooth Surface Clay Kit. This is the first time I've ordered the new Kit since it was release early this year.

I like the way they used the box to feel the difference between a clay'd finish, and without.

I love the little plastic case you get with this Kit to hold your clay.

You also get twice the amount of clay, than the original kit.

The free SS MF towel , and the free sample of A12 is just a bonus!

You guy's hit this one out of the park!

Just to note, it's the same amount of clay as in the previous clay kit, it's just in two individual packages.

I guess you could cut it in 4 if you like small pieces... I kinda liked 3.

Speaking of the size of the clay bars, what is the size of them over in the states?, over here in australia their no bigger than a mobile phone (i think you call them cell phones over there), how many pieces do you normaly get out of 1 piece of clay?

lol our quik clay system in Canada should be the same as the one offered in the states but ya its no bigger than a cell phone but it is quite a bit thiner ...unless you have a RAZR

heres a pic of all the meguiar's clay bars(from mikes gallery) the far left is the clay from the quik clay kit

Thanks sneek, the only size we have is the one on the far left also, and thats the only size we get. I dont see how i can get 3 decant pieces out of that size bar

First time I got the clay I divided into four pieces. Worked just fine, but a little bit small. So next time I will divide into only three. I think that will be an ideal size.
Don't forget to knead the clay often and reform into a pad and use plenty of QD as lube. (But I'm sure you already know that.)
