  • Suggestions on a wash towel that isn't plush?

I've used the plush chenille wash mits and I really don't like the feel of them. Their bulky and don't offer a close feeling wash in my opinion. I feel I get better coverage of the panels (and in the corners and small spaces) with something thinner because I can feel it through my fingers. So for the past 6-8 months I've been using TW microfiber towels as my wash towel and although their main purpose is not intended for washing they've worked out pretty decent.

This brings me to my dilemma. I would assume that since these mf towels don't have a large nap to trap dirt particles from washing it has caused some slight marring to the finish. Its really not all that bad. The only visible spots are a few patches on the sides of the doors.

Any suggestions on a replacement of my current wash towel that won't harm the finish but still carry a slim design similar to a mf towel?

Have you ever tried a microfiber wash mitt or a real lambswool wash mitt?

No I can't say that I have. But if they have the same thickness or plushness as the chenille mitt than I probably won't like it.

I have only liked one mitt so far and that's Meguiars Ultra Plush Wash Mitt. I didn't like the chenille mitt at all, too thick and too heavy when wett, almost fell off my hand when I washed the sides.

Maybe you have to wait for this wash mitt:

That looks almost the same as the wash mitt Meguiar's sells
            in The Netherlands:

This one is less thick than the Deep Pile Chenille Wash Mitt
which will provide you more " feeling " I guess.
            I just love detailing
