I am going to start claying the windshield. I was wondering for those who already do so, is it the same procedure, hit the surface with a lubricant and then go to work with the clay? Also do you have a clay bar set aside just for windows or do you use the same one on the paint? Thanks.

After I use a piece on the car, I then downgrade that piece to windows and rims.
I know others use it that way as well.Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.. -
Some people will use separete pieces, but it seems much more logical to 'downgrade' as Magic mentioned.
The general trend would be Paint--> Glass/Trim--> Wheels/Metal Trim/Mufflers, etc.
