so... my dad is out of town and i decided to finally give his car a ride the bad part is, its a white color car and hasnt been washed in ohhhhh lets say 5-6 months so there is DIRT and left over bugs still on the car hahah .. so i wanted to know what you guys think the best soap i should buy to throw on it and let it sit and kind of loosen it up

i went to quarter machines and sprayed some of their soap/foam on it and let it sit but doesnt seem like it did much, so i need to know whats the strongest dirt cutting soap

Well, assuming you will be cleaning/polishing/waxing afterward, you will be able to use any car wash. I would spray/dampen bugs, tar, etc with a bug and tar remover. Then wash the car.

I think Nxt is one of the best cleaning washes, but even it needs a big/tar remover.

Remember all of Meguiars washes are designed to be delicate to wax/trim, etc, so they arent going to attack bugs, etc like a Bug/Tar Remover.

i dont plan on polishing it, maybe ill give it a wax but i dont have my buffer on me to polish .. so i guess ill pick up some bug/tar remover then let it soak all over car, then let nxt soak then just scrub

.. im thinkin if that doenst work all i can do then is just clay but that would be a long *** process which im not in mood in

I dont really know about claying becoming a long process. In fact, on a car that doesnt have any serious above-surface contaminants (such as overspray, gallons of sap, etc) cleans relatively quickly with clay. I can probably do a regular car hood in about 5 minutes or left.

Following claying, I usually was it one more time, just to get any clay that may have smeared on the surface if I didnt use enough lube.

Ya, claying doesn't take that much and its scary how much stuff it always picks up. The first time I used clay I thought I was just wasting money to try out new products but when I had clayed half of the hood it looked like I needed another few clay bars because it seemed to take out lots of surface contaminants

I don't think the meguiar's saying if your paint is not smooth as glass then you need to clay...Well the first time I used clay the paint on my car felt very smooth???

I'd look into buying some Safe D-Greaser and diluting it 20-1, or since your removing more than just way try 15-1, and agitating it with a Versa Angle Body Brush. It should make like very very easy for you. The Degreaser should remove most of the bugs and tar.

But not on the acid part. A good and relatively mild degreaser is great on tough dirt. It's the safest way to remove dirt before touching the car.
