  • Why are Meg products cheaper from ADS

I just placed a decent size order with Rick over at ADS. Now I would like to buy all my stuff from MOL to support Meg's, but I saved some money buying from ADS.

My question is: Why is Rick able to sell Meg's products cheaper the MOL?

I compared item per item (ADS vs MOL) and I saved about $20 buying from ADS.

Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..

Most likely because they buy such a large quantity of products at cost and are able to sell them to you at a discount. The same way Sams Club and Costco do.

Rick discounts off the suggested retail price which he has the right to do... as a practice Manufactures don't discount of the retail price because this would put them into competition with their distributors.

If you are buying Meguiar's products, you're supporting Meguiar's. Get them wherever seems the cheapest, most convenient, etc.

You may think you would get the best "deal" directly from the manufacture but rarely is that the case. During all my shopping, I compare just about everything and I mean everything I buy and the manufactures always sell at MSRP where retail stores/online stores are less.
