  • #80 bonding with FK1 2180 n 1000P

    hi,

Anyone tried out yet? I still have full qt left and plus other few glaze. I want to use it abit or sell it(anyone want?). So my big question is....Does this #80 have bonding issue with other of sealant/'nuba wax beside the Meguiars brand?

    Try it and see...

Apply the 1000P Hi Temp Paste Wax after applying, working in and then removing the excess M80 Speed Glaze. Use the Swipe Test to check for complete drying before removing.

When you wipe it off, check to see if chunks of it or entire layers slide off or if you actually have to rub the surface with a cloth in order to remove the paste wax. If the wax coating doesn't slide off and you actually do have to use a polishing cloth to rub and remove the dried wax, this will be a pretty good indicator that the wax stuck to the paint and didn't just sit on top of the residual M80

This would be a good indicator for about any paint protection product, at least for initial bond.

Me thinks people make too much over the wash with Dawn so the Zaino will stick to the paint topic...

    YMMV

        I feel for you...

(As I look out the window of my office to see my convertible k5 Blazer all freshly washed and ready to drive in the balmy sunny weather here in SoCal...)
