  • Hot Shine vs Insane Shine

I saw both these products at a store in spray format with a 3$ difference.

My parents' car have textured side tires which aren't easy to detail with regular gel or liquid products. I'm tempted to try one of these.

Can anybody tell me differences between these ? I found some posts with information and experiences about IS, but very few for HS.

To be honest the major difference between the two tire shine you are wondering about is that the Insane Shine is going to have more gloss than the Hot Shine. I like to look at it this way...If Hot Shine is a 9 then Insane Shine is a 10.

    Hope this helps.

from my experience... between the hot shine foam spray (love the foam version!)and insane tire shine trigger spray, the hot shine works to my liking more (not to mention it's cheaper). both are excellent products and you can't go wrong with either.

I second the #40 idea. It leaves the tires looking brand new. I have a lot of tire and I think too much shine on the tires makes them look like plastic. Just my opinion though.

            hey skuz,

High have used both and I like the added shine of the NXT ove the Hot Shine(both are spray cans). I have noticed that for whatever reason the NXT has not lasted through any rain storms and has lost its shine.(not as dramatic of a shine) The Hot Shine seems to last much longer in my eyes. Take this for what it is worth.

Since it took so long for someone to respond, I had already bought a Hot Shine foam bottle.

It seemed way too shiny for me, but then I discovered that wiping most of it immediately after spraying gave an Endurance like look. That's what I was looking for.

As for durability, I don't know if it's the conditions around here, but on a daily driver nothing seems to last more than a week, two if there is no rain.
