  • Possible Help Please?

Well to start off this is my first post so giving me advice in a confusing code has yet to help me... Is there somewhere where i can possibly find a key to the #'s used to refer to products haha anyhow thats not my true problem at heart, (just to give a little background about myself) I'm 16 and I am a habitual car washer haha sounds like i'm confessing something terrible, but i love a shine and reflection, so I just recently bought my neighbors car and its got hmm to put it bluntly way too much oxidation on it for my liking, usually i use a few various meguiars waxes and products but i can't manage to find the grit gaurds (i live in san diego CA) so i use two seperate buckets, which i've heard is the next best thing. So I was hoping since somehow everyone here is "detailing genius" if i could get some help? possible recommendations of products and in order, i like to do it by hand so keep that in mind haha and i've yet to learn the #'s that i see all the time on here so general idea of what i'm looking for..... a list of products in order of which to use first to the finish =) thanks

Thanks and I have previously read that quite a lot, I certainly wash my car appropriately so I have two questions for you, have you come across a key for the products? or how does everyone happy to understand what #7 or #3 mean haha and my second question (not specifically for you haha not just everyone) but could i get a list of products that people prefer i hear a lot of different recommendations

          Hey Corey,

Don’t worry, the lingo will start to sink in pretty quickly.

San Diego isn’t too far from OC. If you come up and take one of Mike’s classes you’ll get a huge jump-start on the learning curve.

            Thanks for the plug Paul,

This weekend's class is full, but check the online calender and each Saturday with a class scheduled has a link to the sign-up thread, if you find a class that's not full, sign-up and drive-up and I promise you have fun and learn a lot too...

as far as the class i've put some serious thought into it for a while, how much does it cost? and how long do they last? How exactly do I sign up? anyhow? and on the calander I see dates for certain classes with different clubs, sorry to sound hmm lacking the knowledge here haha but would i have to be in a certain club or what would i have to do to sign up for a class? (by the way thanks a lot for those who responded)

The classes are free for members, $30.00 for non-members.

Go to the online calender and click on a Saturday class and read...

I typed that template up years ago and it's still pretty accurate...
