  • NXT Tire Cleaner

    Hi,

Will the use of NXT Tire Cleaner damage factory clear coated aluminum wheels?

Here's my tire cleaning routine: I vigorously scrub the tires with a stiff brush and some NXT car wash. Afterwards, I apply one coat of #38 Tire & Trim Dressing Gel. However, I notice when I wipe the excess tire dressing with a microfiber towel, I still get some black residue on the towel. Why would this happen?

Would NXT Tire Cleaner clean the tires any better (than my usual cleaning routine) without adversely affecting my factory coated wheels?

    Thanks!

I have used NXT Tire Cleaner many time with no problems, I have clear coated rims... even with a good cleaning my tires still leave a black residue on anything I apply a dressing with.

The NXT Tire Cleaner does a good job of getting the built up dressing off the tire prepping it for a new fresh coat of dressing.
