So I get a phone call from my dad tonight saying he has a big detailing job for me and of course I'm interested. He tells me his crew has 6 trucks that need major cleaning and he wants me to do all 6. He told me I'd get $100 per truck and I can do one truck per weekend. 6 weeks = $600 plus my "full time" job that pays about $300 every two weeks so I'll be making some money for a 16
. I also have another challenge ahead of me.. One that I'm actually scared of... My grandpa owns an old Studebaker and he wants me to clean all the chrome. I don't have a ton of experience cleaning chrome so I was looking to get a little help on that.
For the trucks I plan on doing:
Wash
Clean tires/rims
Glass clean
Clay(maybe)
ColorX
Wax
Do full interior detail as that is going to be the messiest due to the crew jumping in and out.. Any ideas on a good way to clean cloth interior/carpet?
Thanks guys
