  • How would you clean the Super Suede Drying Cloth?

I bought one the other day and it had dust or dirt smeared on the corner of it like a stain and I read on the label do not wash. Does this mean I can still hand wash and just shouldn't machine wash it or what would be the proper method to cleaning this towel before use?
    Edit: Oh yeah TIA

I put on some clean rubber gloves, get a bowl and place the chamois (super suede drying cloth) into the bowl. I then turn on the hot water on the faucet and work it around in the water. I pour the water out, pour in more water, and let it sit for 10-30 minutes. I repeat the process until I'm satisfied.

Also, IMO, the SS drying cloth is more absorbent after this process.

I just toss mine in the washer with other microfibers.

Yeah, I know I'm not following the directions but I don't like tools that need that much time and energy to use. So I just take the risk. If it disintegrates it's my problem. I won't go whining to Customer Care.

So far so good, I've washed it a bunch of times and I haven't seen any deterioration. I do suggest air drying (or at least very low heat in the drier). I think the drier is pushing my luck.

when i got done using the absorber, i would put it in a clean bucket of water and let it sit until i was done detailing (around 30 minutes or so) and would just agitate it, wring it out and then hang it up on a pant hanger with clips. worked with no probs...
