  • Window Water spots

I have water spots on the side windows of my Z71 and my SS and they been there for a while. Some of my friends are having the same problems. These water spots have been near impossible to remove I have tried several types of glass cleaners, alcohol, vinager, DC1 paint cleaner,#9, and even scratchX. With not very good results. ScratchX has performed these best, I took a couple of sections on the drivers side window working it in real well 4 to 5 different times on each section but it made the water spots less visbile but they are still there. Is it possible that they actually ecthed into the glass like they do on paint , I can rub my finger across them and the suface feels really smooth. If they are not ecthed in, is there someother problem that could be used that someone has had good results with?

It is hard to etch glass, though not impossible.

I have had the best luck with simply claying the windows. But for more stubborn things, the link that sneek showed should be good. #4 by hand with a terry cloth, worked in extremely well.
