Wow great test! I've been using the Insane shine, but recently I've enjoyed the look of something not so intense. So I've been using insane shine on my wheel-wells, and hot shine on the tires.

Nice test with pictures.Ive found that Goodyears do not let any kind of tire dressing soak in.Ive even used all season dressing and #34 vinyl and rubber. It seems that goodyears do a better job of spinning off on to the paint. Now BFGoodrich will keep all season for a month before it really disappears.

Day 7 – 1/9/2006:
Total Miles Driven: 138
Weather: Sunny/Dry
Road Conditions: Dry
Days High Temp: 34 deg F.
Comments: Very similar to yesterday… Insane Shine and Endurance still hanging in there quite nice, I am sold! These two products will give you your moneys worth, thinking most people will wash their vehicle once a week, wont they? I will continue a couple more days, soon as the new tires arrive.Last edited by gb387; Jan 11, 2006, 02:12 PM.Brandon

Insane tire spray looks the best to me. I am still using up some STP one step tire foam/dressing. I may switch, but the STP Stuff lasts very well.
Nice write up

I use to use endurance high gloss...but the results with the nxt tire cleaner w/ a tire brush and insane shine works amazingly well. I would've thought the insane shine, being that it's an aersol form. Wouldn't last long. Maybe it had to do something with the tire cleaner and the brush. But my first time using it was December 21st After I washed and waxed my truck. Althought I didn't drive the truck from the 12/28/05 till 1/5/06 becuz I went to California it was left outdoor, It's a daily driver and what a coincidence I looked at my tires closely today and saw that the insane shine was still there....it had no brown whatsoever and the tire was dark black with a little gloss from the insane shine still there. Keep in mind these are 1 year old tires so they aren't new. The Insane shine is by far my favorite...so easy to apply and lasts at least a week or two (Enough for your next car wash). I haven't driven through any puddles tho.

Day 8 – 1/10/2006:
I gave this day a pass only drove 4 miles.
Day 9 – 1/11/2006:
Total Miles Driven: 146
Weather: Sunny/Dry
Road Conditions: Dry
Days High Temp: 45 deg F.
Comments: Like F-150 commented on I am surprised that the Insane Shine is holding up so well for the same reason F-150 mentioned. Now if it were wet out I am not sure the IS would hold up as well seems to me it washed off easily. Endurance is still in there although its not quirte as glossy as the Insane Shine but close. Almost seems Insane Shine looks better as time passes.
This has been the best case for a tire dressing, dry, dry, dry and I don't drive all that many miles. I was hoping for dry conditions, IMO gives you a better idea in the best conditions how long a dressing might last. I don't drive all that many miles either so keep that in mind.
To be continued….Brandon

Day 12 – 1/14/2006:
Total Miles Driven: 207
Weather: Sunny/Dry
Road Conditions: Dry
Days High Temp: 42 deg F.
Comments: I am posting this a little earlier than I have the other days but I have not washed my truck in almost two weeks just for this test and its time to wash!
After seeing little change in the look on days 10 and 11 I waited to post another photo and here it is. Both days 10 and 11 were dry just like the rest. I keep posting the NXT Tech Protectant tire to give an idea what a "plain" tire looks like. As you can see the Insane Shine it looking very nice. Endurance isn't quite as nice looking but its still there looking like a dressed tire. I am still very surprised by the Insane Shines ability to hold up as it has, sure it doesn't have that insane look but it still looks very good. Either way I think both products will give you your moneys worth. Keep in mind that these have held up after, what I would call "ideal conditions" no rain, snow or any moisture.
Another thing I noticed that you can't see in the photos the Insane Shine appears that it likes to attract dust, more so than the Endurance. This might be that the Endurance is on the front tire and the Insane Shine is on the rear. The NXT Tech Protectant tire has very little if any dust visible on it (the other front tire).Brandon
