  • Detailing/Waxing

Hi all! I'm a newbie in this forum (only my 2nd post!).

I live in the Philippines and Meguiar's products here are pretty expensive. I recently purchased the NXT SPray Wax. I also have a couple of waxes from different manufacturers that I use in my older car (I have a new, 2 week old, Black Honda Civic).

My question is after washing the car and cleaning/polishing it, can I apply a carnauba wax (diff. brand)? then apply the NXT Spray wax afterwards? Or should I apply the NXT first then the carnauba wax?

    Thanks!

As I recall Mike Phillips saying that spray waxes are booster waxes and should only be applied to a finish that has already been waxed.

So after polishing, you may want to use the carnuba first, let it cure for a day or 2 and then top it with the NXT

        Hey amf,

        Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

As was already mentioned, NXT Spray Wax is a booster wax and is not meant to replace using a wax or sealant. I too would suggest using the NXT Spray Wax last as it will give that extra gloss and "Pop" to the paint!!

Yeah.. Used it after the wax and it worked great! I also used it in the windshield and also worked wonders! Thanks for your replies!

          HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!
