Is it ok to Wax in the dead of winter? I have a very important indoor car show in feb and i want my car to look show room new but my car is REALLY dirty from all the road grim and salt. I live in the North east and after it snows the stuff kills my car. How should I go about detailing my car for this show?? any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

Well, it needs to be cleaned well before waxing.
What I would do is give it a good washing, with a little extra soap in the mix.
If you are going to be in a hurry, I would just get ColorX, and then whatever your usual wax is, Nxt, GC, etc. Maybe clay if you have time, and arent freezing.
Do you have Grit Guards for you wash busckets? Or at least the rinse bucket? This is essential in the grime.
So something like:
1. Wash, with extra soap, 2-bucket system, and Grit Guard.
2. Clay is wanted
3. ColorX
4. Nxt, or GC, etc.
And of course wheels, wheelwells ,etc.
If you can clean it right before the show, hopefully you can get there and just QD you car, wheels.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Perhaps you should wash and wax the vehicle at a residence or place very close to where the show will be. This way, your freshly detailed car wont be splattered with slush and salt.Proud owner of the finest looking car in the parking lot.
