ColorX should be more agressive, swirl removal wise, if applied by machine, with a polishing pad.

It is kind of comparing apples and oranges though.

All things being equal, ColorX is probably more aggressive than M82 Swirl Free Finish, but I'll check. I'm sure it's actually posted here on the forum somewhere, I'm just not sure what search term would yield the best results.

What are you working on and what are you trying to accomplish?

hi mike, im looking for more of a cleaning ability than swirl removal. i have some of that yellow bee poop that stained my clearcoat. being that its a soft clearcoat, #83 and #80 are too aggressive.

i was looking for an all-in-one product, because right now time is limited and i wont be able to #82 and NXT Tech Wax the car. ive heard ColorX is a cleaner wax, so i was wondering if it aggressive enough to remove those yellow bee droppings.

            Hey,

            Until Mike can answer...

ColorX is a fairly aggressive cleane/wax with both chemical and diminishing abrasives. However, it is still fairly mild. When you say soft clear coat, was the car freshly painted?

Bug stuff can be quite acidic and can stain as well as etch the paint depending on the bug. If you have yellow stains, they can be difficult to remove. What I have found is that the yellow part of the stain can sometimes fade over time. However, using a product like ColorX may reduce or even remove the marks if they are not too bad.

ColorX with a little passion behind the applicator pad should work perfect for what you're trying to do.

ColorX is a high performance All-In-One, that will never disappoint you in it's cleaning ability as well as the quality of finish it leaves behind. An excellent value for your money and a product I keep in my arsenal of tools for detailing cars.
