    Oh okay I see.

I didn't know there were so many things I can use the clay on. Can I use them on chrome and on my polished lips?

The pic that I had uploaded was my old rims, now I have 3 piece rims with a Chrome center and polished front and rear lips (staggered Set of rims.)

Man this forum is GREAT! I love the fact that I am not being sized down due to my questions as on another forum that I visit.

Here is another one for you: My front rims are 20 x 8.5 with a 2.5" Lip and the rears are 20 x 11 with a 3.5" lip that are polished is there a polish with a polishing pad that I can brighten them up with?

    You all are great!

Sure... you can clay a toaster if you want to... I clayed my exhaust tips before polishing them. Again, dont go up onto paint after.

As for a polishing pad, not really. I used a white sock turned inside out. Then did a final wipe down with a piece of cloth.

Nxt Metal Polysh (also can be hard to find in stores ) is a great polish for all things metal.

That is what I read, I read a thread that some guy who polished a aluminum boat and it looked like glass afterwards, now that is what I am going for.

When is it time to throw away clay, once it has been used or when it starts to harden?

If you clay a car's paint, and very little dirt shows up, you can re-use it again on paint. You'll have to get see what the dirt looks like, you'll get the idea real quick.

And if it hardens, also not good. Keep it in a Zip-Lock baggy, with just a touch of QD sprayed in.

At the top of the page is a button that says CALENDAR. You can check there for what classes are coming up.

It looks like mike has classes every weekend in January and February. You can sign up for any class that doesn’t get filled up by the guest club.

                PC:

I did see that there were classes next month and I am awaiting for Mike to email me back to see if there were any openings. I just wasn't sure if I would be able to attend even though I was not a member of that particular club (Club event) so I do have an email to him regarding the openings.

I also have a post in our Club Lexus forum to see if anyone would be interested in doing the group thing, since a good portion of them reside in Irvine.

I have passed by the Meguiar's Corp office during a meeting with a client who is basically right around the corner from them but never thought that they would offer such an awesome class.

Thanks so much for everyone's input and I will be on the look out for alot of products unless I just stop by there corp office and buy a package deal.

                Best regards,

Unfortunately there’s no sure-fire way to know if a class will fill. You just have to keep an eye on the roster and see how it’s shaping up.

Every sign-up thread has the note: “If this class is not full by the Monday prior to the event non-club members will be allowed to sign up and attend.” so it’s really a matter of wait-and-see.

Some cars have larger, more enthusiastic followings than others. Don’t hold your breath waiting for space in a Mustang or Corvette club. I’d feel pretty confident of getting a slot with the Hupmobile club.
