The white haze? Looks like oxidation, maybe the start of CC failure. I would lean more to oxidation.

Yeah, The spots. Cannot feel them. Thinking overspray.

It looks like the start of paint failure to me.....Kinda hard to tell without being there myself though.

I think in your other post you said had tried clay. Clay should remove overspray but may not remove oxidation. When you clayed did it remove any of the spots? Do you have any ColorX?

              Hi Kelly,

If you look really close at the spots, do they look like a bunch of snow flakes with lines at right angles to one another? Do they tend to be in bunches?

To be quite honest, even at a distance in that photo, I am sorry to say but it does look the beginning of Clear Coat failure.

I am hoping I am wrong....

Thanks Tim. Will get a good look tomorrow. You can see the flaw in bright sunlight from a distance. The whole hood. Now in the shade you can not see it. I was affaid of that. CC failure. So can I slow it down? Seems like wax (GC) does not last long on the hood. What do you think of M21? Or NXT?.
Talked to Ricahrd at ADS today. Nice guy. Gonna get package #2 in the Spring.

                  Hi Kelly,

Once CC starts, assuming that is what it is, it is going to continue. How long it takes until it gets much worse is impossible to predict. But I would suggest using #21 on the entire car. Then plan on getting the hood painted.

Again, I hope I am wrong...

Hey Tim, when you snowflakes, do you mean shaped like them? Looked good today. They are in bunches and look round to me but I'm no expert. Also found what looks like sanding marks. Don't know if I can get close enough to get a pic.
The car does have 100K miles on it so I don't know if it's worth painting.
