Hi,

Which Meguiar's Tire Dressings are Solvent Free? Water Based? Silicone Free?

Please name them off.

I am fairly certain the stuff in the spray cans is full of solvent?

Am I wrong?

However, is Endurance High Gloss free of solvent?

I don't think we have a dressing that incorporate all these factors in one product.

We have a water based tire dressing, but I don't know that it's silicone free.

We have a Silicone free dressing but I don't know that it's solvent-free

I'll check with Jason Rose and ask him to chime in.

What is it exactly you are looking for and hoping for in a tire dressing?

I am looking for a dressing that is Solvent Free. The reason for this is that I got some Pirelli Tires and they say to use only Solvent Free Tire Dressings if any. I am assuming this means to stay away from Nxt Insane Shine and the Hot Shine stuff.

I am not certain about Endurance though. I feel it might be Solvent Free, but I don't know for sure.

It would be awsome if Meguiars would create a chart with each product and whether or not it is solvent free, silicone free... That would help a lot with the purchase.

I would suppose Pirelli's definition of "solvent free" is indicitive of containing no petroleum distillates? Water in of itself is a solvent by true technical definition.

Never followed up with this, sorry... stay kind of busy.

M40 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner & Condtioner is water based and leaves a matte finish with no build-up. It's been around over 25 years, so you might give that a try.

Have you a list of competitors tire dressings that meet all your requirements? By this, we mean, are there a lot of options that meet Pirelli's definition of "solvent free"
