What are the best ways to wash application accessories

I have some accessories like the Ultra plush super terry, the even-coat applicator, and the high-tech applicator. What is the best way to wash these items after use?

I was told it's not a good idea to put them in washing machines because of the fire risk of petroleum distillates, and besides, it might gunk up everything.

How do you guys wash them?

Well personally I stick all of the towel type stuff in the washing machine with no fabric softner of bleach. This goes for the even coat applicators also. I jst make sure to keep the microfiber with the microfiber and the others seperated. As far as cleaning the foam type applicators if the are really dirty I wrote a little write up on how to clean the foam stuff.
