I never used a PC before. What would be the best product to use for a beginner to remove swirl marks and scratches?

Everyone has their favorite products but I'd start with MPPC. If the swirls are removed and you are happy with the finish I'd follow with #7 and then with either #26 or NXT.

If you want to be very gentle, then start with #9 Swirl Remover with a W-8006 foam pad.

If you want a little more gentle than that, you could use Deep Crystal Step 1 Paint Cleaner.

Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner is a dedicated paint cleaner and more aggressive than both of the above, but when used with a PC, it's still pretty gentle.

I agree...MPPC is easy to use...I like to use the 5 setting after spreading it out on 4 1/2.

Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner is a good beginner's cleaner as well...Use the 5 setting too.

When using a cleaner, be sure to clean the pad often with a small brush.
