  • Convertible Top - What product do I use?

I have a 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder. What product do I use on the top to clean, condition and protect it? The material is more of a rubberized material than a fabric or canvas. Any suggestions?

I've 3 clients that have the MRS. I use 303 aerospace protectant and they love it. It works really well and prevents drying & fading. If you're looking for a Meguiar's equivalent use #40 or GC vinyl/rubber protectant which both work equally well. Since it's vinyl just wash it along with the rest of your car then apply protectant.

I dont know about the rubber/vinyl, but for the rear window (plastic), I recommend Meguiar's Plastic-X.

Switch to Linux. Use energy efficient lightbulbs and appliances. Keep your car well maintained and drive easy to save gas. Eat less fast food. Call your mother and tell her you love her. Try flying a kite. Read a wikipedia article daily. Use Meguiar's.

          Hi URdreaming

Great car you have there I had a Mk1 ('89) and 2 Mk2s ('94 and '00) the limited boot space put me off the Spyder but great to drive, same engine as my Celica.

With regard to your roof, I agree that 303 Protectant would be good, or Megs Vinyl and Rubber care. PlastX on the headlights works great, but i'm guessing you have a glass rear screen
