  • what product on white car

    i have a white car,
and seeming as white and red cars dont have clear coats.
i was wondering what product can i use on my paint, since it has deep scratches from those drive through washes...

    I have Honda's White Paint.

With not having any pics of what you are working with, I would say #80 would be a great start.

If you are working with a PC I would look over the following:
Using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Professional Line

How to remove a defect by hand with ScratchX

Check those out and post any thoughts back

I really can't say as my little bit of experience only revolves around the cleaner polishes when used with the PC. I am pretty sure I saw a post or 2 just here recently where someone was going to or has already used a Random Orbital with these products. I'll poke around and see if I can find them and track them down. If I stumble into anything I will post.

With the PC I would try the #80 first then move up from there to #83. Several of the folks here also recommend at least 2 applications with #80 before moving up to the #83.

              least agressive product first

try the #80 first. if it doesnt cut it then try the #83

i'd say you'd do fine with the #80

              top it with some M21

definetly give 80 and 83 in a try. use a polishing pad. if you dont use a paint cleaner 1st. make sure you either have extra pads or wash them out because they will get dirty quick. use like 10-15 lbs pressure on like 5 with a porter cable..honestly thought in the 2nd pic it looks bad, you might need to get professional help..if you want to tackle it yourself ..check this thread out it gives tips for using d.a. polisher with meguiars products ...if it doesnt come out to your liking...check out all the pics, this is what a rotary in the right hands can accomplish
