Request for new stickie-Amount of Product to Apply

Can someone make a stickie with pictures of appropriate amounts of polish, wax, etch to apply to the foam pads? I read on here for the past few weeks and reread some of Mike Phillips instructional threads several times. All I ever saw was to put down a thin film, but thin is relative. Used my new PC for the first time last weekend and had #80 coming through the top of the pad before I realized something was wrong. That pad is pretty heavy now and fairly saturated. Did some searching and apparently, a nickel sized amount is about right for working each section.
