I still have yet to find anyplace near my house that carries any meguiar's gold class accessories. The only accessories I have seen was only once, and it was only ONE package of even applicator pads. I havent seen any other accessories. I've tried AutoZone, Pepboys, O reilly's, and a couple local hardware shops. Even the local English color and supply only has limited Meg's

I really cant find much of any Meguiar's products around Dallas. I just today found some NXT All Metal Polysh. I also found a really old bottle of Gold Class Paste Wax, bought it for kicks.

if any of those store carry meguiars then they should be able to order any item for you if you want to go that route.....have you check your any shops that supply the auto body shop...also like you mentioned i aswell order from time to time direct with meguiars who else will now better and what you need is direct through meguiars i usually call over the phone for placing my orders either way .....

by the way just wanted to mention meguiars needs to update there dealer locater address some no longer carry there items...

                      nice to know that.
its the one with the chair and cooler bag?
so you got it for what, $10?
I'm gonna swing by also and pick one or two or three...
another thing to keep in mind, if the price of that item is on sale for lower the following week or long after. you should be able to get the price adjusted to the lower.
I'm like you, I have a lot of stuff already.

after holidays they have sales on what they can't get rid of..

I picked up 4 sets last year for 75% off - $6.00 each

                          well worth it!

p.s. the bag is actually a bag/stool - so you can bring all these items with you in your car in the bag and take it out and use the stool to sit on as you wax the side/lower panels or sit and enjoy your picnic/lunch as yo go - wow! i love my clean car!

                          hehe

                            Rats!

The store clerk said that they had a ton of them, but they all disappeared after a day or two.

There must be a lot of lurkers here at MOL from this area.

Shoot, the Target in PA was stocked with them! They probably had 25 left on the shelves!

                                Many thanks for this post!

I know the gold class wash and wax was there also a tire foam and i believe like a paint cleaner.. again im not to sure of what exact products are there.. but!!!

all of this for just $29.99

                                isnt this a great deal?

I was going to Target anyway to get storage boxes on sale. Naturally (being a woman) I'm also going to check out the 50% off Holiday stuff as well. (No digs at stereotyping, please). Well, I'm passing automotive to get to the Holiday sale corner and what do I see on the very end? This detailing kit. What got me was the little stool and the bag underneath. That I could really use.

                                Price?

                                $14.99

                                I bought two.

Inside there's a white plastic sheet called "water ice tray" I guess in case you want to use the bag for picnics. There is also a microfiber towel, foam applicator pad, dash trim foam, car wash, liquid car wax, rich leather conditioner, hot shine tire coating, wash sponge, and a carrying strap. The bag seems to be insulated, hence the ice tray thingie in case you want to use it as a cooler. All in all, very cool and no way you could buy all these products PLUS the bag/stool for $14.99.

Now I no longer have a leather interior, but I have a leather couch and I'm thinking I can use the Meguiar's on that.

I'll give the other one to my nephew next Christmas as he has inherited my old 1996 Saturn Coupe (the one I took the dog scratches out with the ScratchX) and is being a good boy detailing the car just the way I taught him and using only Meguiar's. (Get them young, I say.)

I may enter the light contest anyway, as I really love those detailing bags, but if I don't win I'll be content with my consolation prize....a Meguiar's detailing kit for $14.99 at Target. What a deal!

P.S. If anyone in the San Diego, CA area is looking the Target at Balboa Ave and Genesee, 92111 (Clairemont) has about 6 of the kits on sale for $14.99. This was Wed. night, 12/28/05.
