  • How can you tell the aggresiveness of meguiars products?

I'm wondering, after looking through the products lines, proffesional and consumer, how can you tell which products are more aggressive?

Like using DACP with a cutting pad, what products would you then use to remove the marks left by the dacp (going under the sanding principal that you keep using finer and finer grits to get the best finish)

Also which is doing the scratch/swril removal work, the cleaner lines or the polishes?
    Thanks!

the pro line has a scale on the bottles, you'll have to do some asking on the cusumer line, but as a whole its pretty mild to what you can get in the pro line.

as to the swirl work, it verys but in most cases it's both because the cleaners have some polisher and the polishers have some cleaning. pure polish is an oil #81 for example, and has no swirl removing abilities.

as for the dacp, you could probably drop down to a polishing pad and finish off your vehicle as #83 starts out aggersive, but diminishes as you use it. in other words it breaks down into smaller and smaller particles.
    hope this helps.

Personally, after DACP with a cutting pad I would use....DACP again with a polishing pad, then Swirl Free Polish/#9 SMR with a polishing pad, then Hand Polish/#7 Show Car Glaze with a polishing pad, followed by your wax of choice (#16 Professional Paste Wax for me)

That lineup will put your finish in awesome shape
