I'd start with a terry cloth. However, if the cover is really neglected you could try a brush application. Wipe off any excess product when you're finished for a uniform job.
Got some m40 for vinyl tonnuna cover. What best way to apply? Rag or brush?
What other uses can this be use on?
FYI Megs vinyl 40 is a water based product and will wash off in the rain. It is a great product for interior and engines, but will not stand up on a DD. You would want something like Megs ASD or the new Tire and Trim Gel, products more geared towards exterior use.
I use M40 on wiper cowls and mesh style front grills. Use various size foam brushes, especially like the cylinder shaped ones on the end of a stick for both working around wipers and getting into mesh grills. Foam holds product without dripping all over.
