I use 'Tuff Stuff' and aggitate it with a dishwashing brush I got at the .99cent store. It's $5 at Oreilys & Autozone. Removes soiled in dirt/stains pretty good.

I've used this stuff by itself and with a regular vac: Resolve.

It smells pleasant, too, a bit like a pro shampoo. I also have the applicator mop/brush, which is great for the floor mats. Short of a pro carpet cleaning, I've never seen anything better with less fuss.

OK I think I know what I need a wet vac along with some upholstery cleaner. I thought the machine I posted above was a steamer, turns it just heats the water 20 degrees. I figure I would be better off scrubbing the fabric rinsing then using a portable wet vac.. Thanks for helping me figure out what to purchase.

I would get the Little Green Machine. It heats it well.....i like it mainly because it ***** up the dirt really well....better than a towel and a shop vac can do.

              Agreed.

You'd be surprised at what you can do with Tuff Stuff.

It does a heck of a job cleaning carpet & cloth upholstery. Rub the sprayed areas with a damp clean wash cloth or microfiber and then dunk the cloth it in a pail of clean water to rinse the dirt out. After you rub these areas a few times, the rinse water will begin to turn dark with dirt. Fetch a clean pail of water and repeat the process until satisfied. A brush is a good starting point for carpet, and then you can finish up with a damp cloth - or carpet extractor.

I like the idea of a carpet extractor. I have one for the house, but it is a bit cumbersome for automobiles even though it has a wand attachment.
