First time polishing where did I go wrong?

Hi & welcome - these are inflicted from a rotary buffer/rotary polisher machine? I am assuming you were using the rotary machine? These are very common occurrence with use of a rotary. It is quite tough to finish out rotary swirl aka hologram free.

Hybrid Wash & Wax
Not a big job but turned out spectacular anyway. Washed my wife's 2024 Hyundai Tuscon , she said the wheels and tires didn't look that dirty, I showed her these photos of the before and after using D143 mixed 4:1, she said wow.
