Hello!
Been a Mcguiars devotee since 1985 when I first watched their demo at the Chicago Autoshow. I even had an opportunity to tour the manufacturing facility they used to operate near the Nashville airport, it was an amazing experience.

I just tried Hyperdressing on my black trim for the first time. It’s definitely an improvement over ULTIMATE BLACK but still not nearly as good as the old TRIM DETAILER. I wish I could find a stash of Trim Detailer which has been discontinued for a number of years - I am down to my last bottle!...

I should expand a little bit more.
My thoughts would be to do multiple test spots.
Possibly start as you suggest with a more aggressive compound, on the first test spot.
If we are not yet getting the results, possibly move to the 3 inch backing and stay with the same mix of tools...

2024 Cruisin' for a Cure
In the last year my brother has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, so it was even more important for me to get to this great event.
I have attended this event before, because I know others who got tested at the Cruisin' for a Cure and when sent the results went to see their Docs.

My thoughts are it would be ideal to use the least aggressive method to get to the desired results.
So I would next do a test spot with M105, M100 or M110 (a bit more user friendly).
My clear on the 1970 El Camino (11 year old paint) is very hard and we created test spots with one of that...
