hey i'm looking for a product to use with my da but don't know what to use. i like to apply wax by hand, and i've already removed all swirls with an abrasive polish which only needs to be done so often. Does show car glaze #7 contain abrasives? any suggestions?

M-07 Show Car Glaze is completely non-abrasive but it is intended for hand application only.

If you want a pure polish you can apply by machine, the look at,

    Deep Crystal Polish
    M-03 Machine Glaze
    M-81 Hand Polish

first, as always, thanks for such a prompt response. I'm a bit confused however, when I click on the link to #7 show car glaze, in the description at the end it says "For use by hand, orbital buffer or dual action polisher".

I basically want to be able to use my DA more often than what is required for polishing/swirl removing without losing any layers of clearcoat.

As far as I know #81 works better with clear coats and #07 with single stage paints.
About the question you had about using #07 by machine, the label may say something, but I would follow the advice from someone who has been using these products for a long time.
