Another perfect night here in Irvine, CA for a Thursday Night Open Garage!
Our Thursday Night Open Garages are a perfect time to test products you have never tried, before purchasing.
Chris & Paul wanted to come up with a system of products which would work for a daily driver which had not been cared for in a while.
Here we worked on a newer non - metallic black Ford Fusion.
The conditioner before, lots of swirls & scratches.
We first clayed the hood using our Smooth Surface Clay Kit to remove the rough feeling bonded contaminants.
We then tried a test spot using our M205 Ultra Finishing Polish on our DFP5, using the MT300 at speed 4800 OPM. This combination proved to take care of the defects, but there was a little haze left behind on this non metallic black, so we followed with a second pass of M205 Ultra Finishing Polish on a seperate DFF5 Foam Finishing Disc, which removed the haze.
With a system in place we finished the hood.
