Another great group in the training garage for a Saturday Class!

As per usual, following the classroom portion of the day it was time to head into the garage and work on some paint.

Well, yes, this could use some help!

We did two test spots, one with traditional foam pads and the Ultimate trio, the other with the DAMF System.

Ultimate Compound on a W8207 foam polishing pad.

When you first start to run the buffer on a given area, the product will appear as this noticeable, white film on the surface.

After a bit of buffing the appearance transitions to a very thin, translucent film. This is a good indicator that you're at the end the buffing cycle and it's time to stop and wipe off the residue.

On the second section we put the DAMF System to use. The hood of the Corvette is so low that kneeling in front of it is more ergonomic than leaning and reaching.

Cleaning of the microfiber cutting pad; while compressed air is the best option, not everyone has that available to them. Here, we're using a folded microfiber towel to clean the pad.

D302 Polish being applied following the correction step.

Out into the sunshine for the full reveal.

Not too shabby for a first try, but we can dial in a bit better with a bit more time.

It's time to put the G110v2 into the hands of the students and let them get a feel for paint correction via power tool.
