To demonstrate how to remove hazing, oxidation and scratches in clear plastics, we sanded this motorcycle windshield down with #2000 grit Nikken Finishing papers and then applied Meguiar's PlastX with a piece of terry cloth towel in a small area to show how easy it is to restore clarity with the right product and a little technique.

Everyone was interested in learning how to use Meguiar's G-100a to remove swirls and scratches.

After addressing the features of the G-100 Dual Action Polisher and techniques for applying cleaner/polishes and waxes, it was time to do some power polishing!

Before starting, it's important to set the variable speed setting the desired speed. Meguiar's always teaches "Always use the least aggressive product to get the job done" , in keeping with this philosophy, we chose to start with a mild cleaner/polish such as the #80 Speed Glaze

For applying the #80 Speed Glaze, we chose a speed setting of 4.5

After setting the variable speed adjuster, we then placed some #80 Speed Glaze on the face of the Meguiar's W-8006 foam polishing pad

Meguiar's knows the value of real hands-on training, that's why at any of our clinics around the world, we strive to put our tools into enthusiasts hands so they can experience, first hand, how to use a product or tool.

If it's the first time an enthusiast has ever used the G-100 polisher, we will show them how much pressure to apply, how fast to move the polisher and which direction to go by placing our hands on the polisher with them when they first turn it on.

Then after only a few moments of training, we turn them loose!

And in no time at all, they are comfortable with the machine and polishing like a PRO!

After we used the #80 Speed Glaze to remove many of the lighter scratches, we then let members test out the G-100 and apply a pure polish like the Deep Crystal Polish. Meguiar's Consumer line is unique in that it can be used by hand or with a dual action polisher and both methods will result in exceptional results.

After applying and removing the Deep Crystal Polish, we used the G-100 with the very soft Meguiar's W-9006 foam finishing pad to apply a thin coating of Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax

For this we set the variable speed setting to the 3.0 setting.

After allowing the wax to dry for approximately 15 minutes, we removed the wax and later pulled the Corvette into the other bay for some after shots.

                          Here's the last man standing...

I looked down at his chrome exhaust tip and snagged this shot,

                          Then flipped it vertically,

                          See ya!
