With a truck, there are really only two large horizontal panels to be concerned with, the hood and the roof, (unless you have a painted hard Tonneau cover). For this reason, we only buffed-out and applied the NXT Tech Wax to the hoods on most of the trucks here on that day. By doing this, we could focus our attentions on the panel that takes a majority of the abuse, wear and tear, and is also typically the most scrutinized panel on the truck. This also allowed us to push more trucks through the garage in one day. This also provided plenty of time for members to get a good feel for the porter cable dual action polisher and a few other Meguiar’s products and producing professional results.

One thing that's nice about attending a Detail Day at Meguiar's is that it provides people with a chance to try out products that they’ve read about, but have not decided to purchased yet.
Here's Chris trying out the Meguiar's #38 Tire and Trim Dressing Gel on the hard plastic trim on the rear bumper.
How's it looking Chris?

I still have 20-30 more pictures to upload including some before and after pictures of your black Ford Lightning Truck. I'll try to carve out some time today.

Looks like a great turn out. My next ride when my Ranger is paid off is either a Lightning or new body style Mustang("05 and up). With all of the tips I learn from everybody I might even be brave and buy black.
