What causes headlights to fog? Is there a away to stop it or fix.

then there is a leak somwhere in your head units.. the few waterdrops inside you can get rid off by warming up the unit with a hairdryer for example..that`s what causing fog if the lightunit heat up the inside. But that does not mean that it will be fixed so seek out the leakage and fix that first

Funny story...
I used to work in the parts dept at a Ford dealership, and one day we got a brand new headlight that already had water in it - inside the box!
We could not figure out how it happened, but I made a joke about putting a goldfish inside it to turn it into a fog light.
The parts manager finally broke it and sent it back, lol.Comment
