    Very cool: BBC animated Battle of Trafalgar

    Battle of Trafalgar

    Click "Play the game" (it's not really a game), read the background info. Then do "Play the game with explanations".

    What a great use of animation to illustrate something that is not easily understood through words alone.
    As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

    Interesting.

    PBS has been having programs about navy ships & guns of late.

    They touched on the sea battle between England & France a bit too.
